Die Opstal is the largest and most communal residence on the reserve — a restored Karoo farmhouse designed for shared living, long stays, and time gathered around food, conversation, and the surrounding landscape. Positioned on the working side of the farm and surrounded by fruit trees, grazing sheep, and open Karoo terrain, the house offers a more grounded and agricultural interpretation of the reserve experience.
